Health: Do You Have It Or Do You Need It

Health Regime

Fellow health and fitness students who have never had a health regime have found it hard to believe that anyone can live a healthy without eating meat, and that I should tell others with a health goal how to get fit and what it takes to have a health regime, as they will be others who want to get fit and healthy but don’t know to get into shape or what to do to get the health benefits from a health regime.

Maintaining a health regime calls for mental toughness, which involves 3 main elements of the Health Triangle, a routine of diet and exercise and mental conditioning. Diets are a mental process of wanting and not wanting, of doing and not doing and desire and no desire, when combined you get the ying and yang of healthy living triangle.
People are shocked to learn that it is not only the fact that they eat meat that causes their illnesses, but it is also about how the meat is prepared, e.g. boiled vs fried.
There are tremendous health benefits in not eating meat e.g. dead animals. We should love animals not eat them, which is in the long run is good for the planet.

Mental Toughness
There will be some benefits in eating meat for people who are starving and those who might need a high protein diets, but it is about not eating it for eating it sake and also how you prepare it. this is just one aspect of a health regime that contributes to illnesses and early death, but they are a number of other aspects to healthy living, e.g. your state of mind or mindset and exercise, which will greatly enhance your quality of life and can even prolong your life.

Health and fitness is attainable for everyone, but the first place we need to start to change our lives is in our mind, we need mental toughness and conditioning, this is the most important step in healthy living. It is not just for people who have a weight problem but for everyone who wants to get fit. Being a vegetarian for more than 25 years and an active person who is considerably healthy has meant that I have been tested max.
Will power is our greatest tool in the fight to be healthy and live long healthy lives.
There are a lot of people who jog or walk every morning, play sports with friends, which is socially a good thing as this will help to motivate others to want health and fitness. They are a number of reasons why people workout, but probably the main 3 reasons why people workout is because,

1. The first is that they might think that are overweight and they think that the only way to lose those extra pounds is to spend time working out in the gym.
2. The second reason might be that they are underweight and the only way to add extra pounds is to have more calories in their diet along with working out.
3. The third reason might be that they are just doing it for fun and to help them get into shape and to socialize.

The best exercise plan should have cardiovascular and weight training exercises. This helps burn calories and increases the muscle to fat ratio that will increase ones metabolism and gain or lose weight, but as always you should first consult the doctor before undergoing any form of exercise or nutrition health plan.

After consulting the Doctor you should be setting yourself a health plan based on the three fundamental aspect of a health and fitness regime, which are,

1. The right state of mind, this is where you tell yourself what it is you intend to do and how you intend to do it.
2. The right type of foods, these are food that are essential to our well being, check out the link, Natural Health Vitamins Sources.
3. The right type of exercises, which will produce the most health benefits.

This is the end of part one, part two coming soon.
